Conferences are special events for our church to get together and create time in our lives for God to move. Antioch Community Church in Wheaton loves hosting conferences, experiencing dynamic worship, and facilitating teachings from speakers throughout the United States.

The ALIVE 2010 Conference is here! It is happening this Friday-Sunday, April 16-18, 2010 at the Wheaton Grand Theater.

Steve & Wendy Backlund from Redding, CA will be our featured speakers this year. If you were here last year when they visited, you will know that this is NOT a weekend to miss! If you are new to this event, the Alive conference is a great opportunity to set aside the distractions of life for a few hours and join others in celebrating Jesus and all of his glory. We will worship to great live music, hear from speakers who pursue a life with Jesus and offer a time to pray. ACC:W is able to bring you this event at NO CHARGE to members and guests. This will mean another packed house at the church so be sure to get there early and grab a good seat! Don't forget to bring something to take notes with and remember that you will have the opportunity to give a financial "love" offering to our speakers.

Conference times are as follows:
Friday Night: 7-10pm for worship, teaching & minstry time
Saturday Afternoon: 1-3pm for "The River" (a time of worship & prayer)
Saturday Night: 7-10pm for worship, teaching & minstry time
Sunday Morning: 10am-11:45am for worship, teaching & minstry time (

Child Care Info: There will be crafts, activities, snacks and games to keep little ones engaged and entertained during the conference.

Registration is required and the cost is $20 per child for the entire weekend or $10 per evening session. Please register your children no later than WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14th; you may do so immediately following service Sunday at the back of the theater or by emailing our children's director at rebeccakrishnamurthy@acc-w.org.

If you choose to register via email, please bring payment to the conference (cash or check.) Be sure to include your child's name & age when registering. Parents, feel free to bring your child's favorite pillow, blanket or "lovie" in the event they have so much fun they want to "crash out" before the end of the evening! (Please label your child's belongings so nothing is left behind!)
